Overview

Shot across archives, projection booths and private collections, the film follows a small group of specialists preserving film stock that is chemically running out of time.

The studio led development, financing structure and delivery, working with archive holders on clearance from the first day of research.

Creative approach

  • Access negotiated directly with institutional and private archive holders.
  • Archive research and clearance run in parallel with principal photography.
  • Restoration-grade scanning integrated into the post pipeline.
